Viva Park City

Ah Park City, home to not only one of the greatest film festivals of all time, but it is also home to one the greatest mexican restaurants of all time, the Baja Cantina. A few weeks ago before the craziness of the festival started when visited the delicious cantina with Andrew's parents, here are a few pictures. Here is a picture of the shops and the ski mountain behind it, just up that side walk and to the right, is a giant of the mexican culinary movement.
There is me! Right out side the door of our beloved cantina! As you can see I am super excited! Every time we go I get the chimichanga and it is amazing, it makes my taste buds sing! You get two gigantic changas, your choice of beef, chicken or pork. I always get one beef and one chicken. I eat the beef at the cantina and then take home the chicken for Andrew to eat later. Andrew's dad really enjoys the enchiladas el mar, which roughly translated means, enchiladas of the sea. They are corn tortillas filled with succulent lobster, crab and shrimp, them smothered in rich, creamy white sauce! And I have it on good authority that my father (the pickiest man on earth) found their fish taco very good. In his words they were "fine," which is really great when coming from my father!
This is another picture of the shops out in front of the cantina. Just to the right of the picture, is the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and no trip to the cantina would be complete without an after-dinner stop to the factory. I usually get chocolate covered gummi bears, which as far as I am concerned is the best thing to come out of any chocolate factory. So next time you are in the area, and have a hankering for some great mexican food take a trip to south of the border, or park city, and stop by the cantina.

Cupcake Carrier

When I am flipping through the channels I often find my self watching the shopping channels such as QVC and HSN and the other day when I was watching HSN (Home Shopping Network) they were advertising this little beauty:

The 3-Tier Cupcake Carrier with adjustable trays, which can transport up to 36 cupcakes at one time!! The trays are also removable for easy loading and unloading.
The trays can be completely removed in order to accommodate cakes of various sizes. Transporting cakes to a birthday party, a work function, or home from the store is a breeze with the 3-Tier cupcake carrier.
It can also be used to carry, muffins, tarts, pies, cookies, brownies, pastries, even homemade bread! If you can bake it, you can carry it in the 3-tier cupcake carrier. It comes in four different colors, soft blue, lemon grass (which is green not yellow, confusing I know), saffron yellow and pale pink.
I told Andrew that I was definitely getting one in the near future, preferably the pale pink. And when I do, I will be unstoppable. As Andrew pointed out, there has never been a good way to transport cupcakes, and every good mom needs some means of cupcake transportation. So you should all check out the 3-tier cupcake carrier at HSN.com, under the kitchen accessories tab. Once I get one I'll let you know how it works out.

Its official!

It's now official, we are going to London. We have purchased the plane tickets, I've received  my passport, we are on our way! Well we will be in a few more months. I am not going to lie, I am already getting heart palpitations just thinking about the 10 hour plane flight. Its going to take all of the 3 months to get myself mentally prepared. I also have to make a few "England Specific" purchases, such as rain boots,  a rain coat, an umbrella, a cute passport holder among other things that I may deem must haves for the move. Having lived in a drought-ridden basin all my life, I've never had any need for rain boots, and I am quite excited to buy them. Andrew's been warned. More to come on the London front. I'm currently in the process of finding a great Jane Austen tour to participate in! Andrew's been warned about that too!

More of My Birthday

That's my birthday cake, an ice cream cone with a candle in it!
Andrew bought me balloons!!! Isn't he the greatest, its just like in high school when your mom sent your balloons for your birthday (My mom only did it once, but it was awesome!) and every one was jealous, because it was like you were super popular. Let's just say everyone at work was jealous! If you can't tell the white one in the front has pandas on it, Andrew knows me too well.

The festivities continue, when we got home to Idaho, I had more presents waiting for me! It is awesome to have two families. Thanks everyone to a great birthday!! Thanks most of all to Andrew for making it an amazing birthday!

Happy Birthday to Me

Here are a few pictures from the week long celebration of my birthday! First we have an awesome pizza party with Andrew's family, and for dessert I requested lime sherbet - ice cream cones!! Yum! However I did notice that now one else went for the lime, they all had cookies and cream, lame.

Notice the cheesy goodness that is Brick Oven Pizza!!!
This one to the right contains two of  my favorite gifts, Barnes and Noble gift cards!! The Laws know exactly how to make me happy!!

Andrew's Second Home

Welcome to the Howard W. Hunter law Library. This is the second flood where all the
1L (first years) have their very own carrel, or as I like to call it the corrals. This is what
Andrew sees every day when he turns his head to the left. It’s a pretty awesome view.
Here is what Andrew gets to look at four at least 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Many of the other students have their space personalized with little mementos,
Pictures of their wives or children, Andrew has nothing. Apparently he doesn’t
Want any pictures of me to distract him while he is studying. However, while I was
Typing this post he informed me that he does in fact have a picture of me and Chewie
up. That’s right the wife and the dog.
