I have such exciting news!!! For the last 1.23 years I have been a basement dweller. And while its the best sort of basement, it was sadly lacking in one thing, the one thing that kept me from being truly happy. For the last 1.23 years I have had to suffer with just basic cable to get me by. No guide, no on demand, no recording 2 shows at once. No no, I reverted back to the stone age and was forced to spend all my lonely nights (while Andrew was studying) with simple, basic Comcast cable. I will the first to admit, that beggars cannot be choosers, and that it could be worse. In fact I could think of nothing worse than having no cable. Ugh, it would be like camping. But without the DVR I felt that something vital was missing from my life. Well it isn't missing any longer! As of sometime this afternoon, I am the happy owner of my very own DVR! I cried! And the tears, were tears of joy. There is simply no reason why I should ever have to leave my room again! No reason what so ever. I am so immensely satisfied with my new lot in life, that I may just live in this basement forever. So thank you Comcast, and thank you Andrew, for giving me a reason to live, and filling my life with happiness and joy. And thank you to Tim and Bonnie, for allowing us to add an extra, undisclosed amount to your cable bill once a month! Would you like that paid back with cash, or delicious desserts? I am sure we could make some sort of deal. I'll be in touch. My only regret is that we didn't get this glorious invention 1.23 years ago. There goes a year of my life I won't ever get back.
