Ah Park City, home to not only one of the greatest film festivals of all time, but it is also home to one the greatest mexican restaurants of all time, the Baja Cantina. A few weeks ago before the craziness of the festival started when visited the delicious cantina with Andrew's parents, here are a few pictures.

Here is a picture of the shops and the ski mountain behind it, just up that side walk and to the right, is a giant of the mexican culinary movement.

There is me! Right out side the door of our beloved cantina! As you can see I am super excited! Every time we go I get the chimichanga and it is amazing, it makes my taste buds sing! You get two gigantic changas, your choice of beef, chicken or pork. I always get one beef and one chicken. I eat the beef at the cantina and then take home the chicken for Andrew to eat later. Andrew's dad really enjoys the enchiladas el mar, which roughly translated means, enchiladas of the sea. They are corn tortillas filled with succulent lobster, crab and shrimp, them smothered in rich, creamy white sauce! And I have it on good authority that my father (the pickiest man on earth) found their fish taco very good. In his words they were "fine," which is really great when coming from my father!
This is another picture of the shops out in front of the cantina. Just to the right of the picture, is the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and no trip to the cantina would be complete without an after-dinner stop to the factory. I usually get chocolate covered gummi bears, which as far as I am concerned is the best thing to come out of any chocolate factory. So next time you are in the area, and have a hankering for some great mexican food take a trip to south of the border, or park city, and stop by the cantina.
